Excellent location, very convenient for exploring Sydney. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the property was clean and generally good value for a short stay.
Unfortunately, the noise at night was terrible. It was so loud that the windows were actually shaking, and the fact that earplugs were provided next to the TV says a lot. I barely managed to rest during the night. If you’re a light sleeper, I would strongly recommend staying elsewhere.

This hostel is above the venue that we saw 2 gigs at so the location was incredible. Shared bathroom had quite spacious showers and I never saw anyone else using it so no problem with having to wait.
Have tried to book it again but it’s always sold out so I suppose we got lucky.
If you don’t like noise, find somewhere else. It’s above a rock/metal venue (which was a plus for us but if it’s not for you then stay elsewhere).
