Excellent rural location, spotlessly clean, well equipped home from home, exactly what we wanted. The hosts are friendly and live in the adjacent farmhouse, however they were in no way intrusive. We all had a really enjoyable holiday on the island and the accommodation was a big part of what made our trip as good as it was. If you're after a quiet location to base yourself at with stunning views then this is the place to book.
My aunt isn't as steady on her feet as she used to be and the lack of a hand rail did made her feel nervous on the stairs. She was pressing her hands on the walls to steady herself and did worry about leaving marks on the paint. She felt that this was the only fault she could pick with the property but it wouldn't stop her from staying again should she ever have the opportunity to revisit the Isle of Man in the future.
The only other suggestion I can make is that some tasteful pictures on the walls would just make the accommodation feel even more homely. Some of the walls do look a bit bare.

Peter and his family were so accommodating and friendly and offered loads of info on what to do here and even offered use of facilities like hot tub and bikes. Lovely family. Area close to team and bus.

It was relatively newly renovated and clean.
No user instructions; no WiFi password; no tin opener; the coffee machine didn’t work; over complicated appliances (sink taps); no wine glasses!
