We found the front door locks very "scary"". if one was outside and the wind blew the front door closed. You were locked out. Not very nice.

Wir haben im Juli 2026 drei Nächte in der "Salty Villa" verbracht (2 Erwachsene, 2 Kinder). Die Ausstattung ist exzellent, der Name "Villa" wirklich verdient. Es gibt allein drei Bäder im Haus, die Einrichtung ist äußerst geschmackvoll und ich habe selten eine Küche in einem Ferienhaus gesehen, die im positiven Sinn so akurat, sauber und durchdacht ist. (Allein drei verschiedene Möglichkeiten, den Kaffee zuzubereiten :-))Es gibt zwei Wohnzimmerbereiche, die sehr viel Platz bieten, eine Garage mit zwei Stellplätzen, und einen schönen Garten sowie einen eigenen kleinen Innenhofbereich, der von draußen separiert ist. Auch eine Alarmanlage ist vorhanden. Das Zentrum von Swakopmund ist easy zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Besitzerin (Vittoria) ist total nett und freundlich und war bei allen Fragen über Telefon oder Whatsapp zu erreichen. Sie hat für uns auch zwei Touren organisiert (Walvis Bay Delphin-Tour und Sandboarding). Wir können diese Unterkunft wirklich nur weiterempfehlen, wenn man sich in Swakopmund für eine Selbstversorgerunterkunft interessiert. Es war meine fünfte Namibia-Reise, und ich hatte hier an der Küste definitiv noch keine bessere!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home and only wish we could have stayed longer. The house was exceptionally neat, comfortable, and conveniently located. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one could need, including a complimentary spice rack that was a cook’s dream. The thoughtful touches from the host truly made our stay special – complimentary firewood for the two fireplaces, a lovely bottle of wine, hot chocolate, and freshly roasted coffee beans were all greatly appreciated. Every detail had been considered to make guests feel welcome and at home. Thank you for the outstanding hospitality. We would highly recommend this property and look forward to returning in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
