An excellent little resort right on the lakeshore- I stayed in the most basic room which turned out to be a lovely self-contained cottage of bedroom+bathroom, so close to the lake I could hear the waves from my bed. The receptionist was absolutely incredible, and went above and beyond to source me a bicycle to hire and to recommend other activities. Finally the pool, bar and sauna were all excellent, and equally staffed by polite and friendly people.
Electricity was frequently out, but this is to be expected (the island is, as far as I am aware, solely powered by renewables, which feels worth the occasional head-torch use). Would recommend bringing a battery pack and head torch to be prepared for this.

Great staff, Chole and the restaurant staff were amazing. Great sunset!
Sad that the place is so run down, it has a lot of potential . It’s as if the owner has never stayed at hotel to understand what travellers want. No wifi in rooms was a real disappointment . Beautiful pool full of insects like it had never been cleaned before.
