The house is spacious and well looked after. It has everything you would need to be self sufficient during your trip and the location is great. Directly opposite the best food and about a (at most) 10min bus ride to honeymoon beach. The evenings are beautifully quiet and the little hidden clearing in the back was heaps of fun to explore with my kids. The house has big electric gates which enclose the front yard and make it very safe for the kids to run around while you chill out on the front porch sofa. Each room comes with its own large queen bed, ceiling fan and ample number of drawers so you can settle in nicely. Very comfy for families and I very much would recommend this place for those who have young kids.
If I have to find something that I didn't like about the Surfhouse it would be there was a bit of hard rubbish in the back yard which was a bit of an eyesore, but not limiting to our enjoyment of the place.
