I stayed 3 nights, the staff is beautiful, its a cozy indonesian family hostel. The surf lesson with the owner Teban (might be spelling his name wrong) was so so useful. The location is great for surfing. Great price-value

Es gab in dem kleinen Ort einige Möglichkeiten, Essen zu gehen.
Wenn man surft, ist es sicherlich tip-top und ich würde vllt erneut hier schlafen
Ein Roller kann sich auf dem Gelände abgestellt werden.
Die Vorhänge an den Betten sind super, es gibt genug Ablageflächen und einen abschließbaren Schrank direkt am Bett.
Das Personal war sehr nett und der Surflehrer soll sehr gut sein und auch mit Freude Wissen vermitteln.
Je nach Bett, pustet die Klimaanlage direkt auf "dich", es gibt eine Fernbedienung, um die Temperatur einzustellen. Einige stellen diese jedoch auf 16 Grad ein, was bei 34 Grad Außentemperatur sehr ungesund ist.
Mir persönlich war das Badezimmer nicht sauber genug und ich habe eine Möglichkeit vermisst, selbst mal kurz durchzuwischen.
Ich bin kein Fan von Mikrofaserbettwäsche, die gab es leider.
An sich hätte ein dünnes Tuch gereicht, wenn man die Aircon vernünftig eingestellt hätte.

Small hostel managed by locals, they are really nice and helpful. Clean and tidy, they also offer breakfast. Good place to stay if you are looking for a surf stay in Gerupuk
The shower wasn’t working well, almost no water and cold, could not get a proper shower. Beds are quite noisy if you are not completely still.
Good for surf but not much more to do, the hostel is really small and the street is quite busy

CHOOSE THIS PLACE!!!
The hostel is cute and clean and well organized. The staff is kind and super helpful, they took such good care of me and paid so much attention to everything I needed. The surf lessons are suuuper well organized and Sahban is such a great surf instructor, always paying attention to everyone’s technique and mistakes and providing good feedback.
I’d say especially adequate if you are a solo traveler since it is quite easy to make friends/team mates (especially if you join the camp!!)
No warm water or no water at all at a certain point, but they are working on it!!!
