We loved having an entire house. The ability to cook for ourselves was important as there are few possibilities for dining out in Alert Bay. We were happy to find the kitchen well equipped.
Netflix was stuck on Italian for some reason.

Schöne Aussicht auf die Bucht, gemütliches Ambiente, kurzer Weg zum Hafen. Spaziergänge entlang der Inselküste z.B. im Norden. Freundliche Bewohner. Hafen hat seine Fischereigeschichte, auch wenn viele Gebäude heruntergekommen sind.
Preis in dieser abgelegenen Gegend zu hoch. Der von den Indigenen bewohnte Teil der Insel ist leider z. T. Etwas heruntergekommen; eingestürzte, nicht mal so alte Häuser, viel Müll der herumliegt, auch auf dem Friedhof. Restauration recht begrenzt und etwas abgewrackt.

It had a nice view of the ferry and the water. Great location to walk down the stairs nearby and be right on the main drag.
Luckily we were an hour and a half late checking in. The cleaner was still there and told us to come back in almost an hour.
The place had zero charm or character besides it being bright pink. The courtesy list of places to eat was very outdated, and phone numbers were wrong.
I stripped the bed when we were checking out and there was no mattress cover or pillow protectors which I found strange.
