I had a nice stay here (solo) before the summer started. Rooms are awesome. Clean bedsheets. People at the reception are nice. I was unable to reach on time and check in was a little early but still they helped me over phone. I got food from outside.
They did not arrange a campfire near the beach because of the weather at night, otherwise it would have been even more awesome. I will probably back in the monsoon, I am sure I will enjoy the beach, the rain, nice food, friends and travel.
I would rate an overall 9.5 out of 10. This is almost the perfect place if you are traveling with friends or family.

The owner was not on site but spoke good perfect English and was available by the mobile phone of the in house Manager who spoke no English or very little well okay. He was extremely helpful the owner and booked my rail ticket journey onwards for me out of kindly helping me there was no necessity for him to do this so this was over and beyond. The room view was beautiful the room was fully equipped with everything you might want for a good stay. The Manager was kind helpful and called me a tuk tuk I also liked his icecreams he kept in reception and they kindly made me tea on arrival which made all the difference. They kept juice for me in a fridge somewhere. I enjoyed a dip in the sea opposite as it was calm. I enjoyed peaceful dusk walk down the beach and back along the road, and talked to local boy which was nice. The room is very well appointed.
There was alot of rubbish on the beach typical of india -right by the hotel. I was told there was nowhere near for breakfast. On exploration there is a perfectly good breakfast location to the lef you can have an indian breakfast here or just yoghurt & fruit.- this made a massive difference to my stay. I did not want to have to get a tuk tuk into town for breakfast as I came here for peace and tranquility not moving. You can also dine here in the evening at about 7-8.30pm .. I did not like the noise the furniture made in the rooms when items where scrapped across the floor it was terrible and needs to be addressed. I did not like the fact here were extremely noisy children staying inside all day when i was trying to work / rest. I did mention to owner on mobile and he immediately silenced it and I was able to rest. The only other thing I mention is that there is a problem in the bathroom with the flap at the bottom of the drain it is letting up odour in the morning. Options are to make a fat seal with oil or get a plumber in apparently. I chat gbt it. The stench was not caused by me and is a drain issue. The owner needs to get someone to look at it. Its a very common problem with new drains. and can be easily fixed. A cup in the room would be useful for herbal tea making there was a pan to boil water however. Access to a fridge for keeping cold drinks would be useful with shelves for the rooms - the dining area on the top floor is not open For some this will be too remote, no sun loungers, beware sand flies, not much to do , so okay for 2-3 days or if you have a car, swimming only on very calm days - there are warning signs. I came by bus from Mangaluri and then got a tuk tuk to the train station that part all worked well . Bed was too hard for me but will suit others. I am overweight.
