The breakfast was excellent but I would have preferred a choice of fruit and yogurt that I could serve
myself.

Our room was in the roof, with limited standing space.

Good location. Pleasant staff. Plenty of choice @ breakfast& good fruit salad. Loved the fresh Christmas decs & lilies on the table .
Piece missing off shower door bottom. Duvet ridiculously thick- need a choice of layering especially as very difficult to open window. Heating difficult to control. Needed to have a little more variety in choice of evening meal. Too expensive & too niche. I thought tasting menus went out last year! We enjoyed a drink in snug by log burner in afternoon, but when we came back @ 8.15pm it was out, which was a shame as we would have had another drink by it!
Also, cups in room were handleless & tiny- too hot to handle! I imagine that nice pale carpet will soon be stained with spilt hot drinks especially as ledge by bed was so small. I would expect a fridge in room or on communal area for guests to use at this price.
