Location very good
Staff were okay but didn't really listen to specific requests so it felt they were there just to serve a purpose, rather than delivering exceptional service and overall experience.

Location was excellent, breakfast very good, quality food, restaurant looked good & menu although we didn't eat there. Busy pleasant atmosphere.
We had a ground floor room, and the occupants in the room above were extremely noisey all night {not sure if this was a lack of noise insulation in this old building made it even worse}, therefore very little sleep. As there was no reception on 24 hours we could not address this with the staff, and difficult to know which room to approach ourselves due to the layout of the building. Not the Hotels fault about thoughtless occupants, but as no reception at night this could not be addressed.

Access to after hours cabinet of beverages and ice in the room.
Communication. I had exchanged more than 1 email regarding late checkin as well as needing to checkout at 830am (requesting take-away breakfast). Yet, upon leaving at 830, none of the staff had any idea what I was talking about and suggested if we could wait 20min or so which we could not. When we requested to go coffee I felt like I was totally putting them out.
