Eagle's Nest Retreat with 14bedrooms and 5.5baths in beautiful Saint Germain WI

This place worked perfectly for our group and celebrating the upcoming wedding of my son and daughter in law!

We had a great stay! Everything was as described. The only thing was the pictures make it look like it is in the middle of the woods somewhere and that is not accurate. It is right off the main road very near the town. On one side is an apartment building and on the other is a gas station. It was very convenient though because next to the gas station was a candy shop/ice cream shop and next to that was a coffee shop/bar (very cute and trendy). Next to the apartments was another very cute coffee shop and right down from that is a Dollar General. You could walk to all of these from the house, which was great. The host was very responsive to everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this for a large group stay! The house was great and well maintained.

Spacious home just outside of St Germain. Centrally located near Eagle River, Minocqua, Three Rivers and more. House was big, with 14 nice bedrooms, all of which had tv's, night stand with lamp and a closet nook with a rod for hanging things. Lower level was carpeted with a rec room and wet bar with small fridge. Pool table was nice but has definitely seen better days. Bluetooth sound system was great. Kitchen was well stocked though appliances were pretty old and outdated. Same for the living room furniture. All 5 couches were about 10 years old. Wood fireplace was in need of repair. Two huge dining tables that sat at least 10-12 people. Bedrooms upstairs nice, but two of them face the front and only had sheer curtains on them. We covered the windows with blankets. All bathrooms are on the smaller side except the master, though there are 5 1/2. Nice outside patio, all concrete, with covered area and huge firepit. Big backyard was not kept up very nicely. Biggest downfall outside is the big apartment complex RIGHT NEXT DOOR. If you like a spotlight in your face all night and a view of cars, you'll love the backyard. All in all, the house was nice and fit our needs, but be aware that you are right off a busy highway and not really secluded. Not the northwoods feel at all.The sheer size of the house with 14 bedrooms and 5.5 baths was our group's real draw. Note, lots of businesses are closed in April, it's their down season.
