The greeting upon arrival was so refreshing. The room was ready and we were greeted with a sweet treat and a drink. The concierge, Susan, was outstanding. All staff was helpful with information about the area. This location cannot be beat for proximity to everything and near public transit. The breakfast was a delicious variety of foods and the service staff were very friendly. Everything was sparkling clean and functioning well. A lovely mix of old world charm with modern amenities.
Being able bodied, the lack of elevator from the ground floor did not prove to be an issue. The staff promptly carried up the baggage without an issue. They are petitioning to have an elevator installed, as this is an issue in most old world destinations. For me, it only adds to the charm. Others might find it an inconvenience. For those with mobility issues it might pose a problem. The rooms are small but have superb functionality and use of space.

It was perfectly located. While on the busiest touristy street I’m sure in Lisbon. We had a window to the street but you couldn’t hear a thing happening below with the window closed.
The staff were very nice and helpful at all times.
Bed was great quality and the room was very clean and nice.

Breakfast was excellent. A buffet with a great variety of items to choose from, both hot or cold. Plenty of fresh local breads, pastries and fruit. Could eat inside the restaurant or at an outside table with a great view of The Arch.
