We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lawangkala Resort, and it genuinely became one of our favorite hotels among all the places we’ve stayed during our travels around Asia.
The resort itself is peaceful, surrounded by beautiful nature, and offers different types of accommodation, all with their own charm. For once, we felt that what we got was exactly what we had seen in the photos - if not even better. But what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff.
A huge thank you to Ani, Budi, Ferdi, Dewi, and the entire team, who completely spoiled us with their smiles, warmth, kindness, and willingness to help with absolutely everything. From arranging transportation and tours, carrying our luggage, doing our laundry, and keeping our room perfectly clean, to helping with all the little things throughout the day - nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Everyone was always smiling, warm, and friendly, while at the same time being incredibly professional.
We also loved how easy everything was to organize. Communication with the hotel was through WhatsApp, which meant we could contact them from anywhere. We could book a massage while we were out exploring Ubud, or even let them know that a food delivery was arriving so they could receive it and bring it to our room. It made the whole stay feel effortless.
The massage at the resort was also very good and extremely easy to book, which was perfect after long days of exploring Bali.
What really stays with us, though, is the feeling of being genuinely taken care of. The team went above and beyond throughout our entire stay and exceeded our expectations in every possible way.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Lawangkala Resort to anyone visiting Ubud.

We stayed for 4 nights during our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean, comfortable and homey, with new amenities and a lovely simple honeymoon decoration. The staff were very friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of à la carte options including nasi goreng, mie goreng, eggs, French toast, sausages and beef bacon.
Nothing major. Breakfast is à la carte and needs to be ordered in advance, preferably the day before, and the selection is slightly more focused on Western options.

Tutto: la hall, la vista, gli arredi, l’appartamento, la piscina privata. Tutto stupendo. Si respirava un’aria di relax e quite luxury.
Arrivando molto tardi la sera, ci hanno accolto con disponibilità e fatto trovare la cena in camera.
La colazione consente una scelta tra dolce e salato, personalmente ho preso sempre i pancakes che erano super!
Per i nostri tour a Bali ci hanno fornito il contatto di un driver, con il quale ci siamo trovati magnificamente!
La posizione è un po’ dislocata, ma è normale per una struttura di questo tipo.
La pulizia è migliorabile, sopratutto quella dei tessuti: c’erano macchie sia sui teli che sulle lenzuola. L’appartamento invece era perfettamente pulito. Niente da dire in merito.
