My stay at this beautiful homestay was, without a doubt, the highlight of my trip. It's impossible to overstate how perfect this experience was, and it all begins with the stunning riverside location. Imagine waking up to the gentle sounds of the river, enjoying your coffee on a sitout surrounded by lush greenery, and feeling a deep sense of peace wash over you. The setting truly is a sanctuary, offering a quiet escape from the hustle while remaining perfectly positioned for easy access to everything.
The property itself is charming, comfortable, and maintained with obvious love and care. Every detail contributes to a feeling of being genuinely at home. I originally came to stay for just 3 days, but I quickly extended my visit for another 8 days, happily spending a total of 11 wonderful days here!
However, what truly elevates this homestay from "great" to "exceptional" is the owner TING. She is not just a host; she is the epitome of humble, generous, and truly helpful hospitality. The incredible warmth extends to her entire family; her father and brother were equally humble, polite, and welcoming, making the atmosphere feel like a true home away from home.
From the moment I arrived, she went above and beyond anything one could ever expect from a accommodation owner. Her kindness and warmth made me feel like I was staying with family. She was always ready with fantastic local advice, but her dedication to her guests is truly unmatched. She selflessly took the time to personally transport me to the city and even helped with logistics to restaurants, many local markets ensuring my journey was smooth and stress-free. This level of personalized service is unheard of.
I cannot praise her enough. Her humility is infectious, and her genuine desire to make your stay perfect shines through in every interaction.
