The room was clean, comfortable and generally very nice. The location was also good — not right in the centre, but only a short walk away. Excellent value for money, especially for a five-night stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
The room could benefit from a few basic kitchen items, such as a kettle, cups and simple utensils. A small kitchenette would fit nicely as well, although none of this was advertised, so it’s more a suggestion than a complaint. Eating out in Himarë is inexpensive, but having the basics for preparing breakfast would still be useful.
The only real issue was the external window blinds. In strong wind they wobble in their guides and make quite loud knocking noises, even with the window closed, which disturbed my sleep. I found a simple workaround by putting some plastic into the guides to stop them moving, but this is something worth fixing.
