When I travel I always look for 3 major aspects:
1. space: it must have 2 bedrooms and preferably 2 bathrooms and a livingroom.
2. tranquility: no noise from the streets and no noise from neighbours
3. location: not for outside the city, but walking distance from interesting parts of the place I visit.
Majority of times is impossible to find an accommodation that checks all 3 requests from above, especially in crazy touristic cities.
Not this time: Habemus Casam ("We have house") fits my ideal standards.
It has 2 bedroom (one is smaller, but comfortable enough for kids or a slim couple), 2 bathrooms (one is just toilet + sink, the other is complete), a kitchen and a terrace.
Most important, is far from street traffic and it has NO neighbours below or above the apartment (it's a villa "in stairs" on the hill). It only has neighbours on the side, next to the main bedroom.
The location is good, next to the Vatican walls, close to public transportation, to a few good restaurants and to a useful supermarket.
Attention: even if this apartament is next to the Vatican walls, you still need to walk around 25-30 minutes to St Peter square as the apartment is located in the opposite side to the entrance in the square.
Giulio (the owner) and his family are nice people ready to make your staying there a good experience.
This is not a luxury apartment, but in my opinion it has a very good value for money balance.
The A/C may be a challenge (it is not that powerful) especially in the first night if it's a summer day (May to September). In my case it probably didn't run at all the entire day. When I started it around 21:00 o'clock it was 30°C in the room, it ran all night and by the morning it only reached to 27°C.
For the rest of the days I scheduled it to start around 18:00 and by the time we came back from visiting, the temp in the rooms was already better. Still needed to keep the A/C running all night, but at least now I reached 25°C inside.
As a note, I visited Rome from August 30th to September 4th and it was 35-36°C outside every day.
I still grant the maximum rating to this location, despite the A/C not being too efficient.
As others said, there are some stairs to climb. That was OK for me, but I imagine some people (older or much heavier) may find it very challenging.

Buena ubicación, con todo lo necesario y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Estuvimos muy bien todas las noches que pasamos.

El apartamento es espectacular y la terraza un aliciente para desayunar y tomar algo después de un día explorando Roma.
Giulio está siempre atento de todo y puedes pedirle consejo para lo que necesites.
Está a 8 minutos de la estación de metro de Valle Aurelia desde donde puedes ir a cualquier parte de Roma.
La verdad es que no encuentro nada.
