Chequers Suites Subic Bay

The staff were friendly and helpful. There were some things a bit Fawlty Towers about the apartment, but anything we asked for was dealt with promptly.

The lift was out of order, but there were people there to help our luggage upstairs.

Good location Excellent breakfast Lovely staff Overall excellent stay if a few minor annoyances

Lift was broken for 5 out of our 10 day stay which was annoying when on the 6th floor Bar was under construction Had to ask for more than one towel and pillow No hairdryer or Iron But we managed!

The staff was really nice and attentative, especially the front desk and the bar/restaurant staff. Breakfast was always great, and everyone was super friendly. I did like having a queen sized bed, refrigerator, and the A/C worked extremely well.

The picture on my room itself was not the room they gave me, so i had false expectations, even my buddies that got a more expensive room didn't get the one in the picture. It must be AI or something becuase neither of our rooms had that nice room with the kitchen island, and leather recliners. Even the internet was super spotty, i had drain moths all over my shower, there are no electrical outlets in the bedroom to plug my phone in, the water pressure in the sinks and shower were super weak, the couch was stained and smelt dusty like nobody has cleaned it in a while, the deadbolt lock on my front door didn't work and either did the lock on the back sliding door, but thankful i had a higher floor.
