I got worse experience with this booking.
Only location and cleanliness.
The property owner gave me a really tough time. I requested to him for little early check in, he said I will charge you 20 ringette per hour. On top of that, after the cancellation period had already passed, he suddenly sent me a notice to deposit 100 ringgits as a security, while at time of booking this is not mentioned in booking policy. He did not give me key until I deposit money in his account after that he provide me mail box code. One thing he again sent me notice on WhatsApp that if I use more electricity beyond the limit he will deduct it from my deposit. I will not recommend anyone, I had very unpleasant experience with him. No Netflix, no You tube access, only local channels.
Reply the answer of property owner is mentioned below.
We had clearly informed you that our check-in time would be 11:00 AM. However, at the time of booking, there was no mention that an early check-in will charge of RM 20 per hour. This was only communicated later.
There was also no information provided on Booking.com regarding a security deposit. It was only after the free cancellation period had ended that I received a message on WhatsApp stating that a RM 100 deposit would be required. This should have been clearly stated upfront so we could have made an informed decision or cancelled the booking if necessary. I have proof of the security deposit, and you deleted that proof from our previous chat. According to Booking.com's policies, if the property owner requires a security deposit, it must be clearly communicated at the time of booking. However, we did not receive any such notice or message from your side regarding this.
We have been making bookings by Booking.com since 2009, and we have never faced such an issue before. This is the first time we’ve had an experience like this, and it happened with your property. I mentioned background with you, it was only to show that we are educated people, not uneducated ones whom you can deal with in this.
