The house suited our needs, but really needs a deep clean and updating.

The house sits on a lovely property, with a small lake and lots of green space. New living room flooring was just installed. The owner was lovely, who accommodated our early check in request.

The place was not clean. I had to clean hair out of the bathrooms, and wipe down the kitchen. We washed every glass and dish before using, the coffee maker was so dirty that we just opted for the keurig. The drawers and cabinets were messy, filled with so much stuff. The downstairs area was musty smelling, and damp. Many areas of the home need updating. We were there in May, and Christmas decorations were all around. (?)
