The Space
Inside, you’ll find a modern open-concept living space designed for comfort and relaxation. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for easy meals, while floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outdoors in and frame the surrounding mountain landscape. After a day of hiking, climbing, or exploring Red River Gorge, unwind by the fireplace and settle into the calm, quiet atmosphere.
The private bedroom features a plush queen bed for a restful night’s sleep. Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy your morning coffee on the private deck as the sun rises over the mountains.
Step outside to your own private hot tub, fire pit, and covered deck—perfect for soaking, stargazing, and slow evenings by the fire.
Knob Hill is one of eight uniquely designed cabins at Three Suns Cabins. While each cabin offers privacy and seclusion, guests also enjoy shared access to private walking trails, river frontage with a sandy beach, hammocks, fishing spots, outdoor games, and the Ember Circle communal fire pit—amenities exclusive to Three Suns guests.
Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a quiet solo retreat, or an outdoor adventure base, Knob Hill offers a peaceful and memorable Red River Gorge experience. Larger groups can reserve multiple cabins or the entire property for special gatherings and events.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the cabin, private deck, hot tub, fire pit, and all shared Three Suns Cabins amenities.
Please ensure the phone number and email associated with your reservation is correct as important check-in information and stay details will be sent prior to your arrival.
Other details to note
For your convenience, each cabin includes both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig. To ensure freshness and accommodate individual preferences, we do not provide perishable or consumable items such as coffee, K-Cups, salt, pepper, cooking oil, or similar goods.
The kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with the essentials needed to prepare and enjoy meals during your stay, including pots, pans, bowls, cups, utensils, and more.
To help you settle in comfortably, we provide a starter supply of essentials, including hand soap, paper towels, two rolls of toilet paper, 2 trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and basic cleaning supplies. A bar of soap and travel-size shampoo are also provided. Guests planning longer stays may wish to bring additional supplies.
Each cabin includes a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking. Guests are asked to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid. Please note that while we do our best to provide lighters or matches for the grill and fire pit, availability is not guaranteed.
Firewood is available for purchase onsite. While we do our best to keep firewood stocked, availability cannot be guaranteed.
The cabin is supplied with city water that is safe for drinking and all household uses.
Cell service can be limited depending on your carrier.
The property is easily accessible via paved and well-maintained gravel roads. Four-wheel drive is not required.
Please note that pets are not permitted at this cabin, and we are unable to make exceptions.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The cabin was spotless, this is the first place I've stayed at, that I can actually say that. Very comfy, private. Trails that lead to the river, with a beach. The hottub was clean and hot. The cabins are lined up, giving a camping feel. We loved our stay, I could have stayed forever, it was beautiful. Highly recommend. Will stay again

We really enjoyed our stay at Three Suns Cabins! It looked just like the pictures. It was peaceful and beautiful! We will definitely be back but plan on bringing our kiddos next time. It’s a perfect location for just you and your partner or the whole family!
