About this house rental
This stunning private mountain estate comfortably sleeps 8 people with 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an office, and two living areas. 4 of the 5 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. This rustic beauty could easily accommodate two families. The total interior sq footage is over 4,000 ft. with additional 1700 sf of screened porches on a 2.5 acre wooded lot with long range mountain views. On the screened patio is a pool table and dart board, along with plenty of seating and hammock. Located on a small mountain surrounded by larger mountains. Beautiful volume ceiling with wood beams give the feeling of a picturesque mountain lodge. The stocked kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite counter and a gas stove. There are three wood burning fireplaces inside and one outside for those cool mountain nights. If you are looking for a new build, this is not the rental for you. This home is rustic, charming and spacious but not new construction. 1 gig of high-speed internet allows guests to have a working vacation if desired. If Verizon is your cell carrier, you should have no issues with cellular coverage here. Laundry room in the basement is accessible to guests as needed. Located 2 miles off of Suches loop for motor sports enthusiasts approximately 9 miles from Blairsville Georgia it is in close proximity to many vacation destinations like; Blue Ridge Georgia, approx. 35min, Helen, Georgia approx. 40 min. access to Appalachian trail is 10 min. Murphy NC approx. 30 min. Vogel State park just 5. Min away. Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee, Ga is less than 30 min away. Most of the house is located on the second floor, there is a lift that can be used for disabled guests only. Please request access if needed, otherwise the lift is off limits. 3 car carport for guest use. No garage use for guests. Union County License number 008982

Well the first thing I could think of when I got to the property was "WOW" The best experience we had had in 30 years renting property for our Memorial Day week in Blairsville. We had a minor issue and Roy was very fast responding to us. The open area was great for gathering, plenty of room for watching TV and preparing meals . The bedrooms were spacious well appointed and every where we looked there were things to delight the eyes. The covered screened-in deck was huge with plenty of seating and for enjoying the fresh air. Although we did not use the room off the master bedroom it was a great spot to sit to work on a computer and there must have been 400 hundred books to choose from if you are interested in a quiet read. We were completely " blown away " with everything about this property !! Anyone who rents this property will be more than satisfied with the entire time spent here. Actually I find it hard to describe our joy and time spent here. WONDERFUL....WONDERFUL !!!

Beautiful home. The pictures don't do it justice. It is enormous but cozy. Lots of great extras. Awesome location for day trips or hiking. Tons of games and books available. Very responsive hosts.
