This is a great house to rent for experiencing the bourbon tours. It wasn’t a far drive to the gorge kayak experience either. It is easy to access from Lexington airport. There is a lot of entertainment inside the house for rainy days.

This place was great. Tons of space. Bedrooms were nicely furnished. The amenities were excellent. We loved the golf sim, hot tub, fire pit, and deck! Communication with the host was top notch. We had some small inquiries which were handled super fast. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing week at Backroads and Barrels! The house is centrally located, which is one reason we loved it so much. We did daily excursions to different parts of the state (ie Louisville, Lexington, Mammoth Cave, Red River Gorge, Versailles, etc). The house itself was everything we could’ve hoped! The pup enjoyed the fenced in portion of the backyard. The kiddos loved the golf simulator and the theater room. The grownups especially enjoyed the beautiful views and relaxing vibes of the front porch and the back deck. And the whole family had some awesome quality time in the hot tub and around the fire pit! The entire process from start to finish was smooth and the owner was organized, attentive and communicated effectively and efficiently! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful, a perfect spot for our family reunion. It felt like having our own private resort. I would definitely stay there again!
