About this house rental
Driftwood Haven is a charming updated cottage with unparalleled views of the Chesapeake Bay from nearly every room! Enjoy easy access to two private community beaches: Driftwood Beach (2 min drive/15 min walk) and Seashore Beach (9 min drive). Lake Lariat is a short 6 min. drive away. Relax on the screened-in porch, or dine al fresco in the outdoor space equipped with a grill, swing, and fire pit. Perfect for families or groups, this retreat offers a blend of comfort and natural beauty.
Charming updated cottage with unparalleled views of the Chesapeake Bay from nearly every room! This home has a wonderful open flow perfect for accommodating families and groups. From the kitchen to the living area, through to the upper screened porch, where you can take in the views of the trees, water, and wildlife. In cooler months, there's a ventless bioethanol fireplace so you can enjoy cozy evenings by the fire. On the main level, there are 3 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. The lower level is above grade and has a walk out to a screened porch and additional outdoor space with a grill, swing, dining area and fire pit. Also on the lower level is a large primary bedroom and a full bathroom. There is also a large lower level recreational room with 65”television and game room. Home is on a quiet cul de sac.
Guest have access to the entire house. There are a few locked owner’s closets.
Driftwood Haven is on the Calvert Cliffs which affords stunning views but is not suitable for young children. Areas near the cliffs are marked with signage. Guests are strictly prohibited from entering or hiking in the wooden areas on the sides and in front of the house for these reasons.

We had a wonderful stay at Driftwood Haven. We found the view of Chesapeake Bay even better in person and the sound of the waves crashing against the shore from the porch area was fabulous. The unit was well appointed with comfortable furnishings. The sleek minimalist styling and great attention to detail made this cabin by the bay welcoming, modern, and bright. And things like power strips with built in usb chargers and useful small kitchen appliances were a welcome surprise. Driftwood Haven is conveniently located amongst both private and public beaches and a short drive from Solomons and other attractions.

We were a group of five adults traveling to Maryland for a wedding. Driftwood Haven worked out perfectly! The house was spotlessly clean and very well stocked with everything we could possibly need. There were even two coffee makers…a single-serve Keurig as well as a regular drip machine! The beds were quite comfortable, and the linens were soft and the bath towels were plush. We all enjoyed sitting in the two screened-in sunrooms and the views of the Chesapeake Bay were fantastic, both by day and by night. And when we had questions, the owners were very responsive. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this property!

My friends and I had a wonderful time staying at The Driftwood Haven. It’s spacious, beautifully decorated and has picturesque views of the bay. It’s a great choice if you’re traveling to the area!
