The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the tram station, allowing you to get around Istanbul comfortably.
It is within walking distance of Galataport. There are many restaurants and entertainment venues nearby.
The room was very spacious, with a comfortable bed for resting and a large, clean, well-equipped bathroom... the room is cleaned and towels are changed daily—excellent!
The hotel's décor is very lovely, with an elephant theme.
The hotel staff are incredibly friendly; they are in touch with you even before you arrive to offer assistance with whatever you might need. They give you a warm welcome and are always attentive to the guest's needs.
Thanks to Mehmet and his entire team for their attentive service... we'll see you again in Istanbul!

Excellent stay at Galata Fil. The location was superb — only a few minutes’ walk to the tram station, with plenty of restaurants, cafés and shops nearby. It was a very convenient base for exploring Istanbul.
The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained throughout our stay.
A special mention to Mehmet, the manager, who was absolutely excellent. He helped us with so many things, especially transport arrangements and general advice during our stay. He was always friendly, responsive and genuinely willing to help whenever we needed anything.
Overall, a really comfortable stay in a fantastic location with great hospitality. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay! The location couldn't be better for accessing Galataport. The room had plenty of space, and check-in was a breeze.
I understand that elephants (fil in Arabic) are featured everywhere but some of the human statues seem unnecessary.
