The service was excellent! despite the language barrier, with the help of google translate, they understood what help we needed and they provided it beyond our expectations ☺️

Great location. 3min walk to the beach. Friendly staff.
Unfortunately I woke up to some itchy bites. I already had a couple of mosquito bites so I was unsure if it was related to bed bugs or from the night before. I checked the bed and thankfully didn’t find any but unfortunately the state of the mattress under the sheets was gross. There was dirt, hair, debris and stains looking like mould. I let the staff know and they came up and just flipped the mattress to the other side and put on new sheets. Would have hoped for a better solution but I just put up with it. I doubt they cleaned the mattress after I checked out.

The Position
On arrival I was sent, not escorted, to my room. It was not as booked. I informed the Receptionist of my concern. She answered, this is the only room available. I reluctantly accepted it.
After being in the room a few hours I noticed water leaking from between the wall and the floor. A worker came to my room with a mop. He realised it was more than likely a burst pipe.
He left, returning a hour later asking me to move to a different room. (Previously they said they didn’t have one) This room looked like the one l had booked.
The room itself was good, clean with a comfortable bed. It had one window which was frosted glass. There was no way to get natural light or fresh air into the room.
The room was also not very well appointed. It had no cups, saucers, tea towels, tissues or cutlery. (What is the point of issuing tea bags and coffee if they are unusable?)
Rooms have a safe, but they are not secured, movable.?
I was only here 5 days thankfully. Glad to leave.
