The property was in a nice location - close to everything but still quiet.
The check-in process was clunky and inefficient. We were told the room would be ready in just a few minutes about 5 minutes before the check-in time. 5 minutes later, we were told the room wasn’t ready (it got dirty again??) due to construction. The person at the desk was not friendly or helpful or sympathetic, and could not give us a time frame on when the room would be ready. The room itself was nice. And then come Saturday morning at 8 AM there was incessant drilling and hammering right above us that didn’t stop. Had I known there would be active construction I probably wouldn’t have booked at all. Lastly, we came back from breakfast and the gate to the lobby was locked. We were able to find the elevators downstairs easily but I think that should have been mentioned during check-in.
