Very poor

Host wasn't friendly. Watched us all week. Host didn't speak English at all. On our leaving day, Host bardged in to see if we were stealing belongings from the cottage... big garbage container as a view. $250/ night is too much for this.

For a comparable price, a hotel/motel is probably the better option

Location was very nice. Easy access to the water. The cottage was more updated than the pictures but in the process did not update the listing for the missing items

The hosts were not on site, when called they pushed the issues to a later time and never followed up or solved anything. The two main issues were no key to lock the main door and only 2 beds when 4 were advertised (3 if you count a box spring as a bed)

In general it was a good and an affordable place to stay….Needs a lot of maintenance.

The location and surroundings were very nice. The children enjoyed fishing and going out in the paddle boats. Internet was very good! Was nice to have a barbecue to use. For what we got, overall the price was very good.

The general look of the “resort” was very run down. In chatting with other guests we had one of the best cottages (#7) and realized that we were blessed for that. They certainly need to do a lot of maintenance on the property to bring it up to decent standards

Not much

When we arrived another guest came up to us to tell us that they have been trying to get a hold of the host because there’s no water for anyone, and they can’t get a hold of the hosts, so first off A GUEST told us that it’s not even the host themselves. We had no water at all the entire time that we were there. We couldn’t shower in the morning. We couldn’t even flush the toilet, or brush our teeth properly. I think the host should’ve came around and apologised, or at least explained that that was the situation since they were in a big house right next door it’s not like they couldn’t have came over and said hello, the water isn’t working, sorry etc… not ok. I had to reach out to them myself and they just said yes it’s like that for all the guests and that they’re trying to fix it. Not too concerned, no apology no offering of any sort of something to help or asking if we were ok. Also, I’m also unhappy that I booked the place at a discounted rate for $90 thinking it would be a cute experience, but the taxes came to over $100 and I didn’t see that in the tiny little fine print on your site otherwise I wouldn’t of booked the place at all. I just wanted to go and sleep somewhere and have a restful time. I saw other places that were $100 with tax of $30 in this place was $90 with tax of $100 so I don’t understand how that’s worked out but I would’ve just booked something more and paid less tax in that case, but the way the site displays the prices is pretty sneaky. I had a few appointments during the day and I felt completely grimy. I didn’t have a shower. I couldn’t wash my face before I met people. O water to brush our teeth. I have my period so it was really a horrible experience for me. Also not to mention that the duvet or comforter whatever you wanna call it has marks on it we took pictures or like snot or something??? It was not OK as well. Very gross.

The location and surroundings were very nice. The children enjoyed fishing and going out in the paddle boats. Internet was very good! Was nice to have a barbecue to use. For what we got, overall the price was very good.
