It was a big scam

Nothing

Very bad experience. Upon our arrival, the keys were not even in the designated lockbox. We waited outside for almost an hour with our luggage and a baby, in the middle of a heatwave. That evening, we discovered that the air conditioning was not working: it only blew warm or room-temperature air. The night was unbearable. The next day, the manager replied every 30 minutes just to repeat that the issue supposedly came from the settings. Despite the photos I sent and my explanations, nothing was done. At the end of the day, someone came to “check” the air conditioning without any tools, unplugged and plugged the unit back in, then claimed everything was working even though the apartment was still unbearably hot. The manager then claimed on WhatsApp that the issue had been resolved, despite the unbearable heat inside the apartment. I spent the entire day dealing with Booking customer service, which asked us to wait up to 48 hours for a possible refund… which ended up being insignificant. Booking.com eventually made a commercial gesture and gave me somme travel credit (arround 1/3 my intial fees ) but the scammer still got my money In the end, we left the accommodation and booked another place to stay. The worst part is that several recent reviews already mentioned exactly the same air conditioning issue. I absolutely do not recommend this accommodation.

Location is the only positive – Stay away! Rating: 1/10

The only positive thing I can say about this accommodation is the location; everything else was a complete nightmare.

The only positive thing I can say about this accommodation is the location; everything else was a complete nightmare. Although the apartment is advertised as "renovated," it is incredibly poorly maintained and was filthy upon our arrival. We found hair in the shower and insects crawling around the bathroom. To make matters worse, the towels provided were dirty. When we complained, the owner sent only two fresh towels to last us for a 4-night stay, which is unacceptable. The basic amenities were non-existent. There were no hangers for our clothes, and getting a simple iron felt like a full-time job—I had to send countless messages before one was finally provided. The kitchen was so disgusting that we didn't feel safe using anything in it. Most alarmingly, we found a small, toxic bottle of Amyl right next to the olive oil. This is a massive safety hazard, as someone could easily mistake it for balsamic vinegar or a food product. We booked this place when it still had a decent rating, but by the time we arrived, the reviews had plummeted. Unfortunately, our free cancellation period had already passed, leaving us stuck in this horrible situation. This was an incredibly disappointing and disgusting experience. Save your money and stay somewhere else!

Da evitare

Niente

Uiteindelijk alles opgelost.
