Do not recommend, not as advertised
The surrounding location Lakeside and other spots were like Buckhorn were very nice.
What didn't I like? Good question. The moment we opened the door to the "villa" (very very poor choice of words to advertise) we were overcome with a strong smell of musty/mould. The one bedroom has Black mould growing on the ceiling we had to keep the door closed the entire stay to try to cut down on the smell. Also, black mould is growing in the main living space and around the kitchen window. Overall whoever is in charge of cleaning did a very poor job the bathroom was filthy, the floor around the toilet and the glass shower were disgusting. Dead bugs all over the floor everywhere else which isn't even a huge deal I know how to use a broom. The back of the toilet was completely missing, a broken drawer in the kitchen, and very scarce kitchen utensils. BBQ was filthy and nothing to clean it with either, I purchased a brush day two and found out the BBQ didn't work period. I got to pan fry all of our meals for 4 days! When we checked in I made the host aware of the smell, broken things and the mould as I was concerned. Not to mention we needed 3 rooms so tagging up 4 ppl into 2 beds for 4 nights wasn't enjoyable at all. The host responded first day they would make maintenance aware and then no further response. Day 2 I asked very nicely if we could be moved so we could enjoy our last two days and hopefully sleep properly/not have to smell mould but was ignored.
Outside was very unkempt at well sure there is a Lakeview but don't let that fool you it is just to look at. Please don't book this and think you are going to enjoy swimming it is at best a fishing lake
Also to note the day we checked in the place across from us had been double-booked. There was a family waiting upset for hours and eventually had to leave. The people staying in that cottage #10 also said that one was in a state of poor repair, broken doors ones that wouldn't lock. Another two people I met also had places that were in horrible condition.
