THE VACATION FROM HELL 🔥
The location
The house is an absolute dump! The photos are very deceiving! It's a fire hazard with crappy window units for ac. The ac had an extension cord running through the middle of the room out into the hallway! This place was filthy! I don't think anyone has stayed there or cleaned it in forever! The microwave and bathrooms were filthy. The outdoor area hasn't been cleaned up in God knows how long! Broken pickets everywhere on the porch and stairs to fall through, especially small children and pets!The dishwasher was covered in black mold in the inside. It stayed hot as hell the entire trip! My parents who both have copd could barely breathe. We weren't able to hang out in the living room at all because it had no ac and one pos plug in fan! The master bedroom was so hot to sleep in it was unbearable! The other bedroom was no better! There was no remote to turn the guest room TV on & too hot in the living room and master bedroom. The back porch was covered in piles of leaves that got wet when in rained and me and my mom and dad almost slipped on them and fell down the stairs! We couldn't hang out in the sunroof either. No ac, a missing window that poured rain on the couch and none of the 3 ceiling fans worked! We were supposed to have free parking as advertised by Booking.com but when we arrived they'd given our parking spot away to the people renting downstairs so we had to pay for 2 vehicles to park the entire stay! We couldn't cook the food we brought because everything was disgusting and we didn't come on vacation to wash a bunch of dishes & refused to put them in the black mold dishwasher! We had 4 towels and 3 wash rags for Monday through Thursday! Nasty disgusting hand prints smeared across the washing machine ! Hazardous broken outdoor chairs.We arrived late so when my husband and I went to climb in bed in the master bedroom, we pulled back the comforter on the bed and there were no sheets on the bed at all!
