The apartment is nearby the sea and has a beautiful view.
The apartment is rented out by a kind old lady who is 'aided' by an agency.
Our experience was sour. We texted the agency around 40-60 minutes before our arrival, but the lady was not sure if we were the ones who rented out the place or not. She only speaks German and Croatian. The agency did not pick up the phone until multiple attempts so this caused a lot of stress for us. After this the agency told us we have to go to another location to pay the tourist tax. Sadly this was badly communicated so we had to go there another time. Generally we were not handled professionally and this soured our first two days. We went for only 4 days so this was a major issue. I also must add that this tax has to be paid by law by the host which we obviously pay, but to tell us that if we do not pay this at 7 PM of our arrival then we will be fined by the police is communicating in bad faith
I think that an agency or the lady cannot handle simple communication and tourists taxes are a major issue which everyone should be aware of. This can easily be fixed and should be done immediately.
