We had such a pleasant stay at Mulanje Vista House that it honestly felt like being at home rather than away in Malawi. The beautiful interior design makes the house so cosy and stylish that you almost don’t want to leave!
We had every comfort we could wish for, from a lovely hot shower and air conditioning to a microwave, fridge and more. Even during a short power cut, we barely noticed: we could cook with the gas backup and charge our phones with the solar panels.
A special mention to Verily, the owner, whose incredible attention to detail made our stay perfect. She gave us great suggestions and support, helped us rent a car, provided a complimentary breakfast set, and even changed all the towels and bed sheets for our second night.

Nice and comfortable house. Spacious rooms and all the basics in the Kitchen with a nice big dining table. We could see Mulanje Mountain from a distance. Close to town.
There was not something we did not like, but we did struggle a bit with only a Freezer and no refrigirator in the Kitchen. Also the coffee plunger were broken and only coffee beans were supplied without a grinder. We did use the pin location from off our bookings reservation and it took us in a wrong direction. Mulanje Vista staff were quickly to assist us.

Verily was very friendly and answered quickly. The apartment is nicely decorated. The rooms offer a lot of space. Great bed and hot shower! :)
