The apartment is very close to a metro station, which is a big advantage in Barcelona. This is definitely one of the apartment’s main advantages.
The furniture could be newer and of better quality. In its current condition, it is quite worn out.

After an easy 20 minute L9 train from the airport, the property was a 2 minute walk up the Metro stairs, so quick and easy plus there is an excellent cafe directly opposite the apartment entrance. The hostess met me and gave me very good advice about the apartment and travel around the city.
The location to the Metro made commuting super fast however the entire area around the apartment is a microcosm of Barcelona and very worthwhile exploring.
There was some renovation work creating a lot of noise one night however it ceased immediately at 21.00. I emailed the hostess who responded immediately that this was not normal and she was correct, the apartment was very quiet from 21.00 to 7.00 each night.
