I really enjoyed this property. A great location. Quiet. Amenities were top tier. The bedrooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, and the hot tub was an AMAZING touch! The kids loved having their own rooms, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay.
It was a little far from the pool (about a mile) for a walk, so we drove. But hey, it's not like you can pick up the house and make it closer to the pool, so that's not really a complaint for me. Also, parking by the pool was free and plentiful.

Right behind a mini mall with the necessities (groceries, souvenirs, restaurants, AMAZING donut place!!! Duck Donuts is A MUST) and close to a hospital if needed.
A lot of room in the rental. Clean. Nicely decorated. Easy to find.
** We were called and told the hot tub cover needed to be replaced and asked if it was ok for someone to come over with a new one. We agreed. They said they were unsure of the time, so my husband and I stayed until they showed up because we were not going to have a stranger come in without us there or leave the rental with the door unlocked. We stayed to wait and kept the door locked for safety purposes (it's on the bottom floor, the kitchen and living room are on the top floor). Had the door not been locked, the worker would have walked right in. When we let him in, he said, "ha yeah, you had the door locked". Of course we did! We are guests, we don't know you.
** The window next to the door could be frosted and the window behind the door could have a blind added for privacy. Its right in front of a bedroom. Had someone been coming out of the bedroom when the worker was attempting to walk in, it makes both instances worse.
** The inside shower curtain liner could have been larger. It should have been the same length as the tub, instead it was one curtain cut in half and split between the two bathrooms. (Dollar Store buy)
** The grill could have a table next to it for convince.
** The check-in list should be sent to guests a few days before check-in vs. the day they arrive. Some of the items on the list could be brought from home vs. forcing them to purchase there.
** If the light in the car port was on a sensor like all surrounding car ports, it was either burnt out and not changed before arrival, or it did not work for another reason.
** Having an umbrella available to use with the table or an awning would be nice to make the top deck more enjoyable for longer periods of time. We weren't able to spend more than 10 minutes out there during the day. Nighttime was a little rough also due to the cicadas (2-3) every night by the door and/or windows.
