The amenities of the property were perfect during a heat wave. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and everyone had their own bathrooms, which was very comfortable comfortable for everyone would gladly stay here again.
The hallways smelled but I know that’s not the hosts fault. Also random unhoused travelers outside but security was present and sent them away. Parking would have been ideal had it been accessible during our stay, but street parking was easily accessible so no harm done.

The apartment was perfect for the 3 of us. Plenty of room in the bedrooms. Good size bathrooms. Nice lounge area and table to play games on with high stools. Huge washing machine and dryer (plays a little tune that amused us)! Secure electronic code lock was reassuring. Small balcony overlooking the pool area. TV with Netflix. Good WiFi. Easy to dispose of rubbish in chute. Huge fridge and a good size freezer. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Great location. Walkable to everything we needed. Supermarket opposite. Parking in garage, but we didn't need it as we were fortunate to be able to park on the street nightly for free. Good communication from the owner and his mate who showed us around when we arrived and explained everything to us.
We liked everything. The only improvement, (and not an issue given that the supermarket is 30 seconds away). They kindly provided shampoo and also conditioner, but not shower gel. Meant we had to get some the first night for the morning.

What I enjoyed about the property was primarily the location. It is truly in the heart of San Diego near just about everything. I do like that the property has a gym on site as well as a pool and jacuzzi and a nice fire pit seating area.
The property has a lot of potential for an enjoyable stay, but unfortunately, it’s lacking in many areas. The pictures of the interior space doesn’t look like what is advertised. The bedding and bath towels/rags were very worn-out and dingy looking honestly, the bedding and the towels both look like they came from the thrift store not something that should be used for your guest. The shower curtains are extremely dirty and filled with mildew making it very uncomfortable to enjoy your shower. We went to look for the Wi-Fi password and noticed that it’s literally written down in a black sharpie on a piece of cardboard box like a homeless person sign. Again unacceptable for your guest. I’m grateful for the owner being very prompt when we requested the sheets to be replaced after we notice the appearance of them and the smell of the blankets. Again, I do believe the space has such great potential to be amazing but I do believe that it needs some TLC and someone to truly come in and freshen up the place even a small affordable trip to IKEA to upgrade those small details would be helpful.
