It’s a very beautiful house and perfectly located. The pictures do not do it justice. Theres lots of nature which we watched and enjoyed daily. Quiet neighborhood that’s well kept up and maintained. Pool was exactly what we needed.
First I’m writing as a regular Joe walking in and the house was great. As a handicapped individual that’s in my mid fifties having a hard time with balance and walking at times it was somewhat challenging. I never see reviews about this much touched upon and I know I’m not the only person with issues so I am going to write an honest review in that perspective.
First I walk with a cane a lot but as well use a wheel chair a lot. The house is fully wheel chair accessible except going out to the pool there’s a small drop step threshold. The appliances I could mostly reach from my chair. There’s a issue though that’s HUGE with the pool. The hand rail with the steps only goes to the top level step in the water. It’s short so you have to balance and stay bent over trying to hold on while trying to take the last step to get out. We managed though even though I was convinced I wouldn’t be able to swim once we discovered this. We figured a way out, happily.
Secondly, I don’t know who or what little person lived in the mast but that toilet is IMPOSSIBLE!!!! Once we got there I had to go. Got sat down and could muster the strength to get up. I had to call to my boyfriend to come help me. The toilet is luck if it’s 15 inches off the floor. See the once photo and the toilet seat is only literally to my mid shin. There’s no handicapped trap bars and it desperately needs them that and the shower or a shower with a seat. The shower is a step in and not roll in capable. One thing I found out after days of struggling and experiencing severe muscle strain is that the toilet in the guest bathroom is much higher and easier to get up from. So use that one.
The mattresses are all extremely firm and we found them not comfortable at all. But they we do able. The linens are all in the guest bathroom closet so if you need those they are there. Because all week I kept rewashing and found out later that’s where they all were.
