A genuine motel dating from 1928. It was Stef but that have it the charm I appreciate.
The plumbing was modern and performed faultlessly . The restaurant Associated with the motel was open 24 hours and was like a museum of the era
Nothing to dislike

Right place the right time
The parking situation is horrendous. It was designed for model T vehicles. Not the construction worker trucks that wouldn’t fit.

A Hotel with a historic past. There is a good Restaurant across the road.
The room is worn and smelled heavily of smoking, no screen on window to ventilate, none of the advertised items such as kitchen,Wardrobe or closet, no Dining table, Clothes rack (or hangers) for clothing. If what they mean as a quiet street setting offers a peaceful environment, note that the hotel fronts a busy Highway 20.
