DO NOT BOOK - ABSOLUTELY AWFUL CARAVAN
Location good.
DO NOT BOOK HERE - IT IS AWFUL & WORST CARAVAN I'VE STAYED IN. NOT ABLE TO GET REFUND OR PROPERLY COMPLIAN TO BOOKING.COM.
BOGUS REVIEWS USED TO BRING RATING UP ****BEWARE****
I booked for use between 6-9th August 2026. The accommodation was totally unacceptable. I raised issues with the owner of the caravan whilst there, but they were not resolved. The owner informed me that they had not been informed previously of these and could not get them sorted until the following week, which was after my stay. After looking at customer reviews, made by people who had stayed (after I booked & just prior to me going) the issues were actually mentioned by them. These very same issues, had obviously been a problem for a while, but ignored by the owner. (I booked the caravan in May 2026 ) If I was aware of these issues and the very poor condition and state of the caravan, I would not have booked it at all. It is clear to see that the owner has blatantly taken money for an accommodation that is well below any acceptable standard and was not as shown in the pictures provided on the website. The issues with the accommodation are as follows:
1) Broken light switch in the hallway, which meant that the light in the hall could not be used. this was not safe once it was dark.
2) broken light switch in one of the twin bed bedrooms, which prevented the main light in the bedroom from being used. There was no other light source in the bedroom, neither was anything provided by the owner, for us to use in the bedroom. My children tripped in the dark, whilst getting in and out of bed
3) broken toilet seat.
4) no seal present on the shower door, which meant that during use, water came through the door and pooled on the bathroom floor. I actually slipped on the wet floor, getting out of the shower.
