Central, convenient

Fabulous location right at the center of Malasaña. The rooms are cozy and the price is impossible to beat. Everything was clean and the host was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. I did appreciate how quiet the house and apartments themselves were, although the door lock is a bit loud and you can definitely hear from the hallway when someone's talking. Having a kitchen is super convenient too. There's 2 bathrooms so you have redundancy when one is occupied.
It's a 5min walk from the metro (Noviciado; 10 for Tribunal) and there's also a Carrefour right down the street. If you love fashion and shopping, the neighbourhood is home to loads of vintage stores, there's also plenty of dining options nearby. Really quick walk to Grand Via and the rest of the city center as well.
The check-in was a bit too complicated, as you need to figure out how to unlock the street door and the apartment door via the app, and especially since you are given a whole bundle of keys with no indication which one matches your room door. But after that initial hurdle it was smooth sailing and intuitive. Be advised that no toiletries are provided, outside of soap dispensers in the bathrooms.
I was slightly concerned for my privacy because of the bathroom sliding barn doors, as it is possible to peek inside from the corridor. But I've never had any issues during my stay and thanks to double bathrooms there was never an occasion where one could intrude on another guest's privacy.
I was disappointed that there was no detergent available for the laundry machine and there were no suitable coffee pods for the Nespresso machine — but those are small nitpicks that did not impact my experience.

Realmente muy confortable, muy tranquila estadía. Siempre hubo impieza y se mantuvieron en contacto conmigo. Me costó entender el mecanismo de ingreso pero siempre conté con soporte. La habitación tiene todo lo que se necesita para estar y el departamento también.
La entrega de la llave de la puerta de calle debiera estar mejor indicada.

It was very clean and well organised.
There were no staff at check in. It was very very difficult to check in. Instructions, instructions but at the end mistake with the room and 30min time wasting.
On the other hand, the bed was very elevated and strange. One just simple bed without the cupboard with it will be the best!
