Fraud

We made a prepaid reservation, but money is simply stollen. The day before arrival we got a message from the host that check-in instructions are only available on the day of arrival via whatsup. When we got to Matera and sent a message to the host they informed us that due to circumstances (a damage of a sink in 1 of 2 rooms that we booked) we need to cancel our reservation ourselves and get a full refund from them. We informed booking customer service about it. A week has passed. Still we have no refund and no respond.

DON'T BOOK THIS ACCOMODATION

Frode!! Siamo finiti senza alloggio e costretti a dormire in macchina. Fortunatamente Booking ha poi proceduto al rimborso. Fraud!! The accommodation doesn't exist and it's a scam. After paying, you receive an email with instructions to contact a WhatsApp number, which should supposedly provides check-in instructions. The number is unreachable, no one answers, and what's more, the address listed is a private home. We ended up without accommodation and forced to sleep in the car. Fortunately, Booking later issued a refund.
