When I arrived and saw the hotel covered in tarpaulins and scaffolding I was really upset as this wasn’t told to me until after I couldn’t cancel, however this soon changed when I entered the hotel and was greeted with such amazing staff and a lovely room. The staff are very friendly and made so much effort to make sure they did everything they could for us. The dogs were very welcome and had treats in the room. The food was excellent.
The parking was great but I had to pay for parking on the second day as the parking was locked and I wasn’t told about this.

Great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable room. Free parking.
This is an old building which is slowly being restored to its former glory. Room was comfy, clean, and well stocked.
Parking is nearby (hotel provide clear instructions). We didn't eat this time, but food looked great.
Location is in middle of Corwen. Don't miss the bakery opposite which is also worth visiting.
There are a lot of stairs, as you would expect of an historic hotel

All the staff were very friendly and the food was very good , we had our evening meal as well as breakfast in the hotel and they were both very good .
The hotel is undergoing some work which we didn't expect but it was not really an inconvenience and everything was clean , no mess or dust that I could see .
