La suite était spacieuse et agréablement décorée. Les hôtes ont été super aimables et nous on aidé au maximum pour nous guider. Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient très bon aussi. Le village est charmant

Silva and the rest of the staff were the most helpful, generous, and friendly of hosts. The building itself was beautiful and so well thought out - from the minute you walk in they make you feel so at home. The room was beautiful, and the bath was great!
It was great to have dinner and breakfast at the property, firstly because they were lovely. Secondly, because the town is very quiet at night. It was a pleasure to stay in the town and explore once most people had moved on for the night.
The location is great, and was a lovely stop over on our trip through Japan - we only wished that we had another night to truly relax!

The check-in experience was fluid. All else was ok.
Nothing truly great to say about our stay, service was ok, as was the food, and the room.
However, for the price, we expected much more. This was an ok stay, priced as a great stay. I suppose much of the disappointment comes mainly from this mismatch. Having paid $450/night, I would price this stay at $120-$200.
As a boutique hotel owner myself, I would recommend a light renovation in the off season and a repositioning of commercial strategy as the growing number of unsatisfied guests’ reviews indicate a clear trend which if left to accumulate, may become an issue for this property’s listings.
