We have never stayed in worse accommodation ever!!!
In the beginning, we could not enter the facility because the entrance didn't work as it was shown in the tutorial that we received in the instructions. The apartment is not even close that good as it is described in the Ad on Booking. The pictures that are posted in Ad were probably made to show it much better than it looks.
The apartment can only be reached by stairs on the "four and a half" floor and the entrance to the apartment is difficult because you only get one set of keys. We didn't get another set of keys even after a request, so if you go there as a familiy or group, it's impossible to function independently of each other.
The apartment is terribly poorly equipped, wery dated, everything broken, with only two glasses and three outdated cups, all different and worn, so we were forced to buy new dishes ourselves. Nothing was working when we entered - internet, intercom, Tv... We had to do adjustments of everything ourselves. The intercom never worked even though we informed Booking immediately and got a promise that someone would come to fix it, so we had to beg the other tenants to let us into the building. That and the problem with one set of keys ruined our stay in Vienna, and I blame Booking for that!
The beds are outdated, with terrible mattresses and bad pillows. The bedroom is too small and has a window facing the corridor of the building, so the window is unusable. You can't even vent because the other building residents are smokes cigars in the corridor and the loud noises is always present.
All in all, we have never stayed in a worse apartment!!!
In the end, Booking also offered compensation on the condition that we do not give this accommodation a bad rating.
We never received that compensation.
