This place was a scam!!!!!! Don't book with them! It doesn't exist!

This place was a scam! They wanted you to send them $500.00, then they would ping you their location! We drove to the address on their website but this place didn't exist!

Beautiful but not very private or comfortable

The location was nice

We booked a 3-night stay at Indómito Chalet in the El Yunque area but unfortunately ended up leaving in less than 24 hours. First, I want to say that the chalet itself looks beautiful from the outside, and the photos online are accurate aesthetically. The concept is unique and visually very nice. However, the actual experience was very uncomfortable for us. Because the kitchen and living areas are very open-concept and outdoors, there were a significant amount of bugs and animals throughout the property. When we arrived, the window screens were left open, and during the night we had bugs constantly coming in and out of the cabin. I woke up to crickets inside, and when I turned on the shower, the bathroom was filled with mosquitoes. I ran outside startled and then noticed multiple lizards around the porch area and what appeared to possibly be a snake near the bar area. I understand this is a rainforest environment, but it became overwhelming to the point that we no longer felt comfortable staying there. Our biggest disappointment, however, was the lack of privacy and the pool situation. We specifically booked this property because it was advertised as having a private pool, and we were under the impression it would also be heated. The pool was not heated and did not appear very clean during our stay. The next morning, we woke up to other guests using the pool area just feet away from our cabin. There are eco domes nearby, and it appeared that guests staying there were also using the pool. This was very upsetting because privacy was the main reason we booked this property. In addition, the cabin windows were quite exposed, so people at the pool could see directly inside. Being in such a secluded wooded area already felt isolated, and realizing the space was not actually private made us feel uneasy and unsafe.

Perfection in the rainforest

This place is one of a kind. It’s so beautiful and unique and being surrounded by nature in the rainforest provided us with a sense of peace and we slept really well. It is perfect for families. The open kitchen is a dream come true. Everything was convenient and super clean. A wonderful experience.
