I feel some of the recent reviews of this property are a little unfair so wanted to take the time to right a comprehensive one. Yes, the pool/common area is quite tired and in need of renovation/feels a bit unfinished but the rooms are really great. The rooms are newly renovated and we couldn’t find fault- the beds are super comfy, big thick dark curtains to block out the light and it’s so quiet at night- we had an incredible sleep! It feels like the room’s renovation has really been thought about, they are very spacious and great for families- the kids bed being in a little cubby hole meant it was even darker in there so we actually got a little sleep in! The bathroom is huge, toilet, shower and sink area all in different rooms with loads of space for the family to all be getting ready. Good coffee machine in the room too. The only comment is that whilst the l’occtaine toiletries are lovely, one set for a family of 3 for 4 days wasn’t enough- perhaps provide some cheaper shower gel etc too? Staff are very sweet when you interact with them. The location right on the beach is beautiful and great for the kids, with snorkeling available straight from the beach.

The pool area definitely needs renovation soon, but for us, we were just there for the beach so really weren’t bothered- but it has the potential to be really stunning with the beach view from the pool. It’s a little inconvenient that the pool bar/food stops at 3 but once you know, you can plan. I’ve seen reviews about there not being enough cushions for the sunbeds but this seems to have been resolved. Whilst staff don’t go out of their way to interact like some guests may be used to in other places, they are very sweet and helpful when you request something.

The hotel was in the most amazing location on a stunning beach. The staff were really lovely.

The hotel in general was a huge disappointment and did not come close to matching the cost of the stay per night. All aspects of the hotel need some serious tlc to warrant paying the high fees. The pool water did not look clean so we did not use it, the pool area and surroundings were grubby. The breakfast was poor, the seats/cushions in the restaurant were dirty. The hotel has so much potential but it is in desperate need of a face lift or heavily reduced nightly rates.
