Outstanding stay at Dynskógar 11 in Hveragerði!
We were a family of six traveling around Iceland and stayed here for one night. Without exaggeration, this was one of the nicest places we stayed during our trip.
The house is absolutely beautiful – very spacious with high ceilings and large bright living areas. Everything feels new, clean and very well maintained. The beds in all bedrooms are excellent and very comfortable, which made it easy for everyone to rest well after a long day exploring.
The house is perfectly suited for larger families or small groups. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped with a gas stove, oven, dishwasher and everything needed for proper cooking. It truly feels like a real home rather than a typical rental.
There are three modern bathrooms with showers, one of them also featuring a bathtub – a huge convenience when traveling with a group.
Outside, the terrace is fantastic with both a gas grill and a private hot tub, perfect for relaxing in the evening after a day of sightseeing.
The location could not be better. The house sits in a quiet and beautiful area of Hveragerði, just steps from a walking path that leads through breathtaking geothermal landscapes and into Reykjadalur valley where you can bathe in the famous warm river – an unforgettable Iceland experience.
Hveragerði itself is a charming and unique town with great restaurants, interesting geothermal attractions and a wonderful local swimming pool with hot tubs and an outdoor steam bath.
This property is a perfect base for exploring South Iceland while enjoying comfort, space and nature.
We would absolutely stay here again – next time for a longer stay.
