So, this is a cute little private spot. The house is pretty big, and privacy is pretty good.
Overall, I had a great time. The birds were adorable around the house. The pool was so lovely.
I don't want to complain too much, I don't like making a big fuss of things. So these are gentle suggestions for improvements and things people should just be aware of.
1) The beds are awful to sleep on. Especially the main bedroom. But honestly the couches slept better (only slightly) than the actual beds. And it just sucks because you pay so much money for such a short time to spend there, you really expect decent sleep.
2) For people doing short stays this isn't an issue, but for anyone staying longer than 2-3 days - the fridge is insanely small. We couldn't put our fruits in the fridge and they went bad within the 4 days we spent there. There's more than enough space for a decent fridge and freezer.
3) Accessibility for elderly and disabled is a major problem here. There's no stable walkways. There's a lot of stairs in strange places, the toilets are very low to the ground. It just has some Accessibility problems. Another problem was that there's no handle or bar to get in and out of the pool. Even if there was a natural rock structure that could help with holding on it would be great.
4) The view isn't great, you're basically surrounded by bushes inside the fences, so you have to walk around the gates to try to spot some wildlife. (Which we did, that was very adorable). This isn't a major problem, because it does help with privacy but just something to note for how expensive it is to stay there.
5) There's a braai/boma area and I gotta be honest with you, I would not feel safe there. It's the perfect hiding place for snakes, spiders or anything strange. The bushes are a bit wild, there's nothing that makes it feel comfortable and safe. You also have to walk through the dirt to get there.
6) These next two things are not a fault of the owner, just something to note. There's NO SIGNAL, mobile or wifi. It's really on and off but mostly off.
