Extremely disappointing stay – I would strongly advise against booking this property
Unfortunately, our experience at this property was completely unacceptable, and I would strongly advise anyone considering booking it to think twice.
We booked the apartment for three days and paid a significant amount of money based on the photographs and description advertised online. What we actually arrived to was a property that, in our experience, looked nothing like the standard presented in the listing. The house was extremely unkempt and gave the impression that it had not been properly cleaned, inspected or looked after for a considerable amount of time.
The cleanliness was by far the most concerning issue.
The bedsheets were dirty and visibly stained, and some of the rooms did not even have pillowcases provided. We also opened one of the drawers and found a large clump of someone else’s hair left inside.
Even worse, we found what appeared to be rat droppings on one of the beds. This was absolutely horrifying to find in a place where guests are expected to sleep and immediately raised serious concerns for us about the overall hygiene and cleanliness of the property.
There were also cobwebs containing dead spiders throughout the house. The property smelled strongly of paint as well as having a very unpleasant musty smell. Overall, it simply did not feel clean, fresh or properly prepared for paying guests.
The problems were not limited to cleanliness either.
The hot water in one of the bathrooms would not regulate properly. It continuously changed from hot to cold and then back to hot again while being used.
The TVs in the rooms would switch on, but despite connecting them to the internet, we were unable to actually watch anything and were instead met with an error message.
There was also no fan available.

What made the situation even more frustrating was the response when I tried to get help.
