I booked a single room with shared bathroom for one night while visiting friends in Heidelberg. I was very happy overall with the hotel, and thought it was excellent value for money.
My room was on the third floor and there was no lift (the hotel informed me about this upfront when I booked), but the receptionist offered to carry my suitcase up - not necessary for me, but thank you for the offer. :-)
The room itself was of a good size, and the bed was excellent. It was quite warm in the room when I arrived; I can imagine that in summer it might be uncomfortably hot, although a fan is provided. The location is quiet though, so sleeping with the window open was not a problem. The hotel warned me in advance that the bathroom (unlike the bedroom) had not been renovated, so I was unsure what I was going to discover, but it was impeccably clean and, in my opinion, not in need of any renovation at all.
Breakfast was also very good, with a large choice of meat, cheese, salad, fruit, yoghurt, muesli and bread rolls. The hotel staff were smiling and very friendly.
All in all an excellent experience, I would book this hotel again without hesitation.

Das Frühstück bestand aus einer schönen Auswahl. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und absolut sauber. Die Lage ist hervorragend, auch mit der Parkmöglichkeit im Parkhaus zu günstigeren Konditionen.
