The location is beautiful and very near the funicular into the old town and castle. The staff at check in and check out were very friendly.
It was very hot and the rooms don’t have aircon so that was a bit uncomfortable but I do understand that it was a heatwave. They did provide a small fan.

Excellent location with beautiful views. The hotel is perfectly situated, offering stunning scenery and a great overall atmosphere.
The room did not have air conditioning, which made it quite warm. A standing fan was provided, but we still had to keep the window open to cool the room down.

The hotel offers a beautiful panoramic view, and the facilities are clean and well maintained. One staff member was particularly courteous, which I appreciated. Very good breakfast. Well heated room.
Having stayed in many hotels across five continents, this one unfortunately stands out for its lack of hospitality. The overall service experience was disappointing.
The reception desk was often unattended, and limited English communication made it difficult to address questions or concerns. Most interactions did not feel welcoming.
The restaurant closed almost two hours earlier than the official schedule, with no prior notice. When I raised the issue by email, the hotel apologized only for closing early, not for the lack of communication, and no compensation was offered. Considering the hotel’s location and the limited dining options nearby, prior notification was essential.
The room had poor sound insulation, as noise from the adjacent room was clearly audible. Additionally, the bathroom lacked basic amenities such as body lotion and a shower cap.
